Operations of the City of Orange Fire Department is made up of three shifts (A, B, & C) of men and women who work 24 hour shifts between three fire stations throughout the City of Orange. Each shift consist of a Battalion Chief, three Captains, and several firefighters.
Operational duties include responding to fire alarms, medical emergencies, hazardous materials calls, rescues and other calls to protect life and property; to participate in fire prevention and training; and to maintain the fire station and firefighting equipment.
