OFD Passes TCFP Inspection

Texas Commission of Fire Protection Logo - Blue with TCFP Letters

The Orange Fire Department has completed its in-depth Texas Commission on Fire Protection State Inspection. TCFP inspects every Career and Combination Fire department in the State of Texas to verify they meet current State and National Fire Protection Requirements. Inspectors check training records, Personal Protective Equipment, Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus, and Fire department Standard Operating Procedures to ensure departments that are regulated by TCFP adhere to the highest standards. Orange Fire Department received our Close out letter dated May 2, 2022, it reads:

Chief Bilbo,

Based on the documentation provided, and completion of an on-site inspection, I will note that your agency has met compliance requirements per Chapter419 of the Texas Government Code, your file forthis inspection period will be closed as Satisfactory.

Once again, I want to thank you for your cooperation and extend my personal thanks to you, for your continued dedication and support toward the mission of the fire service in Texas, and the regulations that enhance the safety of Texas firefighters.
