Hurricane Season is here, running from June 1st – November 30th of the summer and fall. As a coastal region, it is best to prepare for a potential hurricane prior to any developments in the Gulf and while supplies are readily available. It is important to understand the risk of hurricanes, how to interpret forecasts and alerts, and know what to do before, during, and after a storm.
