Adopted Ordinances

The ordinances listed below have been adopted by the City Council and are currently in effect. However, they have not yet been incorporated into the City’s Code of Ordinances, which is updated periodically to organize and include new legislation. This page is intended to provide residents, businesses, and visitors with timely and convenient access to recently adopted ordinances until they are formally added to the City Code. Each listing includes a brief description and a link to the full ordinance document for review.

Ordinance 2025-13: Prohibiting Game Rooms
Amended the game room and amusement redemption machine ordinance to make them prohibited anywhere in the city

Ordinance 2025-14: Amusement Redemption
Provided that game room and amusement redemption machines are prohibited uses in the zoning ordinance

Ordinance 2025-15: Re-zoning Properties on the West Side of 16th Street
Amended the zoning district for properties along the west side of 16th Street and part of 17th Street from C-S Commercial Special zoning district to MUZD Mixed Use Zoning District

Ordinance 2025-16: Home Occupations
Amended the regulations for home occupations to come into compliance with new State law

Ordinance 2025-17: Sign Requirement
Amended the zoning ordinance to require applicants for re-zoning property to post, maintain, and pay for signs notifying the public of the proposed re-zoning in accordance with new State law

Ordinance 2025-18: Outdoor Burning
Defines restrictions and safety measures to be taken while burning in the city

Ordinance 2025-23: Camping on Private Property
Amended the ordinance restricting camping in public places to make it more enforceable

Ordinance 2025-24: Camping in Public Areas
Adopted the ordinance to restrict camping on private property
